I love to shop online!  Before online stores, I loved to shop by catalog…(and still do!).

I love computers. I love the speed and accuracy of what computers can do. I am in awe of the consistently changing world of technology and what can be accomplished. I love the instant gratification of finding products and information at the touch of a button.

I love gifts!…both giving and receiving. But I will have to say that there is nothing more gratifying than finding “that perfect gift” for someone…the one they will love forever.

My professional background is in business administration. My husband, Michael has a 30 year background in owning and running a “bricks and morter” retail store.

In 1998 we decided to “take a different approach” to life. We sold everything we had in Southern California and relocated to the beautiful Sonoma County Wine Country in Northern California. We now live in the middle of a producing Chardonnay vineyard in the heart of the Russian River Appellation.

It didn’t take Michael too long to realize that he missed the retail business, so we pooled our knowledgebase, did some research, and learned some new skill-sets. 2 years later Top Notch Gift Shop was born.

Our recipe is simple… Start with an eclectic selection of high quality “gift” items that we would like to receive ourselves. Throw in a good helping of reasonable pricing. Combine with a level of honest and reliable customer service that is unrivaled in the industry. Top off with lots of fun.

Has it worked?  You bet. We have fun and we get to send gifts to people all over the United States!
